Other Names: Tulip-Poplar and Tulipwood

Growing Range: Poplar grows from Connecticut and New York southward to Florida and westward to Missouri. The greatest commercial production is in the south/southeast.

Uses: Poplar is most commonly used in the construction of furniture, cabinets, musical instruments, interior finish, siding and structural components.
